Advent To Lent To Easter
Advent Expectation
Lent Surrendering
Easter Restoration
The Unfamilar Shall Become The Familar
The Unknown shall become Known
Yet Many Shall Desert when the climb becomes tiring
And the the teaching too difficult
But for the Patient who do not Yield All Shall Be Well
Dr. Mark Roberts writes "Advent is a season of waiting, expecting, and hoping. Beginning four Sundays prior to Christmas and ending on Christmas Eve, Advent helps us prepare for the coming, or “advent” of the Christ child at Christmas. (The word “advent” comes from the Latin word that means “coming.”)"

Advent – Expecting
Philippians 4:6-7
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
Advent – Preparing
Matthew 3:1-3; Isaiah 40:1-3
“Prepare the way of the Lord!”
Advent – Submitting
Job 22:21
"Submit to God and be at peace with him; in this way prosperity will come to you."
Advent – Waiting
James 5:7
Be patient, therefore, beloved, until the coming of the Lord. The farmer waits for the precious crop from the earth, being patient with it until it receives the early and the late rains.
Lent is the Season of Yielding and Preparation for Easter's Restoration - Giving up of the familar of what one's expectation and surrendering so that God can restore.
